How much will I get?
There is no way one can predict the outcome of a possible claim. There may be no award or settlement at all or there may be a substantial award depending upon the type of injury.

How much does it cost up front?
Our Attorney's work on a contingency basis, meaning that there is no cost up front. We assume the risk. If we do not win or get a settlement for you, there is no financial obligation to you for attorney's fees. Client remains responsible for expenses, if applicable.

How long will it take?
There is no way to tell how long a possible claim may take. The sooner you send back your signed Retainer Agreement and the relevant medical and pharmacy records, the faster our attorneys will be able to work on your potential case and file a claim, if warranted.

What type of proof or paperwork do I need to get?
You will need to acquire records showing proof of usage of a certain drug or medical device and proof of the injury you sustained or disease you contracted. The relevant records usually consist of pharmacy records to document your proof of usage of a particular drug and medical, dental, and/or hospital records that documents your injury or confirms the diagnosis of a disease or disorder associated with the drug, medical device or other negligence. If you are unable to obtain your records we may be able to retrieve them for you if we are provided with a proper medical record release form. However, your direct acquisition of your own records will speed up the process of evaluating your potential claim.

Will I have to go to court?
There is no way to predict whether your claim will require you to appear in court. Often settlements are awarded before trial, making court appearances unnecessary.

What is co-counsel? A referral?
Co-counsel is an attorney or a law firm that we associate with to jointly work on you case. Our co-counsel relationships benefit our clients in many ways and there is no extra fee that you are required to pay. Our co-counsel will serve as the trial attorneys who specialize in the actual trial process. You will have two Firms working for you at the same time to strengthen and expedite your possible claim.

Why "Rights For Americans" ?
Our name speaks for itself. Our attorneys and staff are dedicated to sticking up for the average person who is often taken advantage of by large uncaring corporations that are only interested in the bottom line without regard to whom they harm in the process. The only way to fight back against unchecked corporate greed is by hiring qualified attorneys and law firms who will fight for your rights.

Why 40 percent?
Some firms may require you to pay a slightly smaller percent of the total award than our firm. Remember we file each claim individually and assume all the risk! With our highly capable attorneys it is safe to say a slightly larger percent of nothing, for you, is always less than an award or settlement!

Why doesn't co-counsel ever call me?
Our firm's large case load is part of our strength. The attorneys are working hard for you and may not make contact as often as you may like. If there is reason the firm needs to contact you will be notified immediately. If you have any questions or concerns our client relations reps are up to date on every aspect of your situation and will be happy to help.
